Tastes of Thailand


Here is a showcase of all the different types of delicious Thai dishes we had during our 2-week stay in Thailand.

We ate all types of rice: steamed rice, fried rice, sticky rice and sweet rice. We ate the classic Pad Thai noodle dish every day at lunch during clinic...normal and spicy.


We ate all kinds of fish, chicken and pork dishes.














































A couple of times we were served McDonald's!





















Thai dessert consisted of local fruits like dragon fruit, jack fruit, Thai mango, papaya, watermelon, cantaloupe and pineapple.














































There were also a few Thai delicacies like crickets, mealworm and cockroaches. Lee and Shaun were brave enough to try the cricket.
